Intervention and emphasis on reduction of threats to livelihoods of the concern communities and household, implementation of selected schemes on livelihoods on agriculture and non-agricultural, hanging garden, kitchen gardening, climate adaptive agriculture with regard to Risk reduction action plans (RRAPs) and Household risk reduction action plans (HRRAPs) in selected 24 unions under flood and SIDR affected 8 Districts.
Agriculture Technology Transfer Project (ATTP) from 1999-2012 in all union of Batiaghata and Dumuria upazila with a target population of 184000. Through this project PCC & MEC was train those number of farmer on several agricultural technologies and as well as gave them technical support to cope with the Agriculture Technology Transfer Project (ATTP).
Livelihood for the Disadvantaged Program from July 2005 to June 2009, funded by the EU, where BRDS was the lead NGO. Climate Resilience Initiative of Deluti Union supported by Inclusive Budgeting and Financing for Climate Resilience (IBFCR), and HEKS. PCC & MEC provided Technical Support to the Green Valley Enterprise in implementing hydroponics, building a women's Centre for the promotion of non-agricultural livelihoods, and supporting fresh water supply in the context of increasing salinity. The project started in November 2017 and will end in December 2018.
Urban Primary Health Care Project (UPHCP I, II; In the Urban Primary Health Care Project (UPHCP) Phase–i&ii in Khulna city corporation, Bogura, Dinajpur and in Madhabdi Paurashave, where ADB, UNFPA, ORBIS INTERNATIONAL, Government of UK, Government of Sweden, LGRD was funded from 2000 to 2012; rounded as three projects. The project was focused on participatory and sustained base community mobilization to improve the health, hygiene and education levels to enhance the overall standard of living of those communities. And by decision-making through dialog among the members of the community to determine FP, ANC, PNC, Safe delivery, General Health Treatment, EPI, Child Healthcare, BCC, HIV/AIDS, Eye care, Violation against Women (VAW), WASH, Nutrition issues were decided, and also was an avenue for everyone to participate in decisions implementation that affect their lives. Along with Inclusive Health care financing, hanging gardening, local climate risk scenario development, Adaptation Planning, Policy and Economics.
Integrated ESP for all Project from July 1991 to December 2002, funded by ODA, BPHC; Where Family Planning, ANC, PNC, Safe delivery, General Health Treatment, EPI, Child Healthcare, BCC, Resettlement, Cyclone Recovery program, community level micro finance for livelihood through agricultural and non- agricultural promotion.
The implementation of livelihood recovery support for AILA affected people in Assasuni Upazilla of Satkhira district of Khulna- from 1st April 2011 to September 30, 2012 in association with DREAM Bangladesh with the fund of UNDP. Alternative livelihood support to the AILA affected people. And one of the major components of the project was ensure supply of pure drinking water, make PSF, hygienic latrine among to the community, and orientation on sanitation practice.
