COMMUNITY MOBILIZATION
Urban Primary Health Care Project (UPHCP I, II; In the Urban Primary Health Care Project (UPHCP) Phase – I & II in Khulna city corporation, Bogura, Dinajpur and in MadhabdiPaurashave, where ADB, UNFPA, ORBIS INTERNATIONAL, Government of UK, Government of Sweden, LGRD was funded from 2000 to 2012; rounded as three projects.
Where project was focused on participatory and sustained base community mobilization to improve the health, hygiene and education levels to enhance the overall standard of living of those community. And by decision-making through dialog among the members of the community to determine FP, ANC, PNC, Safe delivery, General Health Treatment, EPI, Child Healthcare, BCC, HIV/AIDS, Eye care, Violation against Women (VAW), WASH, Nutrition issues were decided, and was an avenue for everyone to participate in decisions implementation that affect their lives. Along with Inclusive Health care financing, hanging gardening, local climate risk scenario development, Adaptation Planning, Policy and Economics.
Social Mobilization Education and Credit Project from 1990 to 2012 funded by Proshika, BPHC, PCC & MEC own; Where formed Group, Adult Education, Non-Formal Education (NFE) for children, Loan Given, Loan recovers, Social Mobilization and Training for the urban and rural poor people in Khulna city corporation and Dacope, Dumuria and Batiaghat Upazilla of Khulna district.
Integrated ESP for all Projects from July 1991 to December 2002, funded by ODA, BPHC; Where Family Planning, ANC, PNC, Safe delivery, General Health Treatment, EPI, Child Healthcare, BCC, Resettlement, Cyclone Recovery program, community level microfinance for livelihood for the disadvantaged for the urban and rural poor people in Khulna city corporation and Dacope, Dumuria and Batiaghat upazila of Khulna district.
Risk reduction action plans (RRAPs) and Household risk reduction action plans (HRRAPs) of Comprehensive Disaster Management Program (CDMP)/ UNDP Funded from March 2009 to September 2009; Where conducting and Developing Disaster Management Plan for Union, Upazila, Municipality, City Corporation and District Disaster Management Committee. Intervention and emphasis on reduction of threats to livelihoods of the concern communities and household, implementation of selected schemes on livelihoods on agriculture and non-agricultural, hanging garden, kitchen gardening, climate adaptive agriculture with regard to Risk reduction action plans (RRAPs) and Household risk reduction action plans (HRRAPs) in selected 24 unions under flood and SIDR affected 8 Districts.
Agriculture Technology Transfer Project (ATTP) from 1999-2012 in all union of Batiaghata and Dumuria upazila with a target population of 184000. Through this project PCC & MEC was train those number of farmer on several agricultural technologies and as well as gave them technical support to cope with the Agriculture Technology Transfer Project (ATTP).
Livelihood for the Disadvantaged Program from July 2005 to June 2009, funded by the EU, where BRDS was the lead NGO. The project provided training and assistance to selected vulnerable disadvantaged communities to raise awareness and develop skills on alternative Social Business Development and micro-credit support for sustainable livelihoods. Technological innovation for adaptation in health, education, skills, livelihood, water sanitation sectors, Nutrition, Innovative financing for promoting and supporting adaptation New business model for local adaptation, Value chain for adaptive agriculture, aquaculture, and off-firm productions.
Climate Resilience Initiative of Deluti Union supported by Inclusive Budgeting and Financing for Climate Resilience (IBFCR), and HEKS. PCC & MEC provided Technical Support to the Green Valley Enterprise in implementing hydroponics, building a women's Centre for the promotion of non-agricultural livelihoods, and supporting fresh water supply in the context of increasing salinity. The project started in November 2017 and will end in December 2018.

The implementation of livelihood recovery support for AILA affected people in Assasuni Upazilla of Satkhira district of Khulna- from 1st April 2011 to September 30, 2012 in association with DREAM Bangladesh with the fund of UNDP. Alternative livelihood support to the AILA affected people. And one of the major components of the project was ensure supply of pure drinking water, make PSF, hygienic latrine among to the community, and orientation on sanitation practice.
PCC & MEC-IRV- HEKS/EPER Climate Change Project for Plain Land Ethnic Minorities- Develop Climate finance for Climate adaptive alternative livelihood through Sustainable agricultural or non-agricultural /Social Business for Climate Vulnerable Ethnic Minority Community.

To improve the socio-economic status of the community, especially women, through group formation/savings, Credit /loan support and skill development. Technical assistance for capacity building (management, finance & service delivery), volunteerism and Sustainable development.
BCCC program project from 2007 to 2008, where Lead organization UTTARAN, and funded by Sight Saver International. Through this project, PCC & MEC was Identify cataract children and provide them treatment facility.
HIV/AIDS, STD Activities in Bangladesh (HASAB) NGO Support Program project from 1994 to 2000, where it was funded by HASAB, CDS, Bondhu Associates. Awareness buildup, STD activities, primary treatment, motivation etc. Water, public health, hygiene and Sanitation (WASH) program for the women and adolescent girls of the community, Village sanitation Center establish Village Development Committee Preparation, Orientation to the VDC etc.

FOOD SECURITY
Through the project of i) Essential Service Packages (ESP) PCC & MEC is implemented health nutrition education, growth monitoring and other promotional services at Khulna City Corporation, Dacope, Dumuria and Batiaghata upazilla of Khulna district; ii) Agriculture Technology Transfer Project (ATTP) and ESP is being undertaken Khulna City Corporation, Dacope, Dumuria and Batiaghata upazilla of Khulna district; for implementing health nutrition education, growth monitoring and other promotional services; iii) Urban Primary Health Care Project (UPHCP) is being undertaken at Narsingdi Madhabdi pourashova, Bogra Pouroshava, and Khulna city Corporation for implementing, among others, mother and child care, growth monitoring, health and nutrition education and other promotional services. The first project is financed by Oversees Development Organization (ODA) and executed in collaboration with Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE), DLS and local health and family planning department, the 2nd project is financed by ADB, DFID, LGRD, SWEDEN, WHO, ORBIS INTERNATIONAL in collaboration with UNFPA Agriculture Extension (DAE), DLS and local health and family planning department, Local government Division, Ministry of health and 3rd project is being financed by Asian Development Bank (ADB) and managed by Local Government and Engineering Department (LGED). The one of the major component of these projects are to improve productivity of vegetables through gardening, poultry and livestock development and to prevent malnutrition among the target beneficiaries- pregnant women, lactating mothers and under 5 years children for reducing the prevalence of anemia during pregnancy, low birth weight babies and growth faltered children.
Food security service:To implement food security services the organization has been implementing Special Program for Food Security (SPFS) project under UPHCP with the financial assistance from Asian Development Bank, UNFPA Nutrition Project and LGRD. The project is being implemented in collaboration with the Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE), Department of Livestock Services (DLS) and Department of Fisheries (DOF). The objective of the projects are building community awareness about SPFS concept and approach; organizing empowerment training of women group members in the village; ascertaining the role and status of rural women households decision making process; women contribution to village economy; understanding rural production systems in the village; constraints analysis of the rural poor for improved livelihoods; leadership development and conflict resolution; strengthening the managerial and organizational skills of VBO and women; establishing home gardening and community nursery; development of fisheries and livestock activities; ensuring income generating activities through credit support; and enhancing the savings habit of the group members.
INNOVATION
Inclusive Budgeting and Financing for Climate resilience (IBFCR) technical assistance Project, at Deluti Union Parishod, Paikgacha, Khulna, from November 2017 to ongoing, funded by Ministry of Finance of Bangladesh, UNDP, SIDA, HEKS/EPER. Develop a local climate fiscal framework (CFF), develop strategies for climate proofing small scale community infrastructure (innovation approach for hydroponics, Rain water harvesting system, ensure safe drinking water as PSF, women work space with water hygiene and sanitation facility as WASH) and / or establish community level adaptation facility for women and adolescent girls. Here PCC & MEC introduce hydrophonic as an alternative innovation for livelihood.
